Hey everyone, all of the packages are packed up and ready to go. We just need to print and stick all the shipping labels on there. I also want to go to the actual post office to triple-check we're running it all correctly (being a padded envelope that weighs just a few ounces means it's on the edge of a couple of potential classes and the last thing I want is to accidentally do it wrong on 750 packages).
BUT someone in the office here just tested positive for Covid, so I'm not sure how exactly that is going to impact things. We're trying to figure out who all was exposed and if we need to shut down totally or not. It'll probably be a bit of a delay, but if things go ok packages should still get into the mail by the end of this week. But also, maybe we all now have Covid and blerg...
Hopefully I'll have a good update later this week, but it's also possible all of us get sick and shit is fucked for a minute. 2021 going out in style!

I'm going to send one more Backerkit update request and then lock them on Monday.
I'm planning to get these shipped out before the holiday, but unless you live like a mile away, I wouldn't expect them to arrive till after.
Kathy and I are crunching away getting things in order, but she's really crushing it with putting them together!

Production Proofs Are Approved!

I've got the final production proofs in hand! They're approved and the remaining money is all paid over to the printer. Now we just wait a few weeks for everything to get here (I do already have all the wallet packaging), put it together, and mail it out.
Cool.
Go update your BackerKit if you've moved!
I'll bother everyone again about BackerKit, but otherwise, the next update will be when we have everything in hand and are sending packages out.

Proofs, Print and Play, PAX

Proofs
The files are done. Final card proofs are on the way, so pending anything weird showing up in there, we'll be pulling the trigger and full production should be done in about a month. I'll bother everyone about it again but now is a great time to update your BackerKit info if anything may have changed since you originally filled it out. We're all queued up to get these mailed out pretty quickly and we'll have a couple of people working pretty much full time here getting them packed up and labeled. More updates once I have proofs approved and a solid delivery date for all the cards.
Print and Play
As soon as I post this update I'm hitting send on the print and play files. They're distributed via BackerKit and frankly, this is the first time I've used them for files like this. If there is any sort of issue, hit us up so we can see what the problem is and how we can fix it. Worst case I can just send you the PDF, but ideally, the system works and all is well.
PAX Unplugged
I'll be at PAX Unplugged in Philly December 10-12. It's maybe possible we'll get the games in before then, in which case I can offer local pickup there. The booth is Forever Stoked Creative #2437, come say hi.
Custom Sketches
I'm still behind on these. Shocking I know. You may or may not get yours at the same time as your regular game, but I'll be trying to knock the rest of these out quickly so we can wrap it all up ASAP.
